Rebecca Ascher, RA

Rebecca has been an architect and interior designer in New York City for over 20 years. As co- founder of Ascher Davis Architects, she has developed a unique expertise in providing both architectural and interior design services to her clients. Rebecca has an unparalled eye for detail, and extensive project management experience in the construction industry. Along with her partner, Joshua Davis, Rebecca has designed projects across the U.S., ranging in scale from 500 SF renovations to a 15,000 SF new-home construction, and their work has been widely published in magazines such as Luxe, Elle Décor, and Hamptons Cottages and Gardens. A licensed architect in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, Rebecca graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA and received her Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School Of Fine Arts, as salutatorian of her class.

Rebecca brings a diverse skill set to Envelo that combines architectural design with interior design and decorating to create cohesive, one-of-a-kind environments.

Joshua Davis, AIA

Josh co-founded Ascher Davis Architects in New York City in 1998, offering clients the highest levels of custom design and customer service. Although the firm has maintained a core focus of high end residential work, Josh has developed and grown the firm’s institutional business, managing all levels of design and operations. ADA’s work has been widely published in magazines such as Luxe, Elle Décor, and Hamptons Cottages and Gardens. Prior to forming ADA, Josh gained experience in some of New York’s most prestigious architecture firms, including Peter Marino Architects, Morris Adjmi, and Aldo Rossi’s New York Studio di Architettura. A native New Yorker, Josh is a registered architect licensed in New York State and Massachusetts; his professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Josh received his B.Arch with honors from Cornell University, College of Architecture, Art and Planning.

Josh’s extensive residential and commercial architectural and project management experience, design expertise, and construction knowledge provide the foundation for Envelo’s development projects.

Andrea Johnson

Andrea is an entrepreneur and investor who brings extensive experience in ecommerce, retail and marketing to her role as Envelo principal. In addition to her role at Envelo, Andrea is a corporate director of Indigo Books & Music, Inc. (IDG.TO). Andrea was co-founder and CEO of ThisLife (2009-2013), a complete cloud solution for protecting, organizing, and sharing photos and videos. ThisLife was acquired by Shutterfly (SFLY) in 2013 and is now one of the largest photo platforms in North America. Prior to ThisLife, Andrea served as director of e-commerce for Pottery Barn. She has been featured and quoted in a number of publications including Forbes, Fortune, Business Week, Business 2.0, USA Today, PC World, TechCrunch, and All Things D. Andrea holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andrea’s extensive experience in ecommerce, retail, and marketing affords Envelo deep insight into consumer behavior.

Joanna Schwartz

Joanna is an entrepreneur and advisor who brings an expertise in commercial real estate finance, real estate technology innovation to her role as Envelo principal. She is the founder of REdirect Ventures, a real estate and private investing consulting firm. Prior, Joanna was the CEO of EarlyShares.com, an online commercial real estate investing platform, and the managing director of Silver Hill Financial, a small-balance commercial mortgage lender. Joanna led Silver Hill from inception to over $1B in annual origination volume, and was honored as Business Woman of the Year by South Florida Business Journal. A national speaker on real estate technology, investing and innovation, Joanna contributes to CNBC.com and Entrepreneur.com; has appeared on Fox, CNBC, and NPR; and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Miami Herald. She is a two-time past chair of YPO Miami. Joanna holds a BA with honors from University of Vermont and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Joanna brings extensive experience in commercial real estate finance and real estate technology innovation to her role at Envelo, providing insight and expertise in evaluating potential projects.
